What is Pelleve Surgical Procedure?

Each skin lesion you want to remove will be exam by a doctor. The lesion then removed with the pelleve loop. Some of the lesions will be sent to pathology for further exams if suitable.
The small loop simply dissolved the tissue without affecting the surrounding skin area. The wound healed within 10 days, then after 2-3months the area recovered without noticeable scarring.

What are the benefits?

Quick and minimal pain.

The skin lesion area will be numbed with local anaesthetic. It will only take a few minutes to remove one skin lesion. The wound is healed within few days.

Is there any scarring?

The advantage of this method is that it hardly damages the surroundings tissue. Most of the time patients have no scars.

Does it hurt after the removal?

After the anaesthetics effect wears off. Some mild pain may occur. Patient may need to take some pain relieve agent.
